Jessica Lynn wrote a great review that is basically exactly what I would write, except for a few things that I add here.ġ) After the boring recitation of the protagonist's life, then you get to read it all again (briefly, thank heavens!) from his girlfriend's POV.Ģ) Oftentimes, the lives of people being played for in the protagonist's video games were recited in boring detail, too.ģ) Why was there no punishment for leaving the gameroom as the protagonist did? And since there was no punishment, why didn't they just let everyone have a short break like the protagonist took? If all the players got to do that, it would make them all happy and eager to continue. ![]()
